If you love hiking in the mountains and discovering new places, the Summer Rogaine in Yenokavan is the event for you!

Rogaining is all about route planning, map navigation, and finding checkpoints scattered across beautiful terrain.

Choose from three formats:

  • 2-hour run/hike for beginners
  • 8-hour run/hike for experienced athletes (or who prefers long journey),
  • 4-hour mountain bike category.

As an added bonus, the traditional Armenian Herbs Festival will be taking place at Apaga Resort on the same day. Bring your family and friends — while you’re out on the course, they’ll have plenty to see, do, and enjoy.

How it all happens
  • The team is given a map with some checkpoints (CP) marked on it
  • Each CP has a different "cost" — from 1 to 9 points (usually this is the first digit of the CP number).
  • The team’s goal is to gather as many points as possible within the control time (CT).
  • Each team chooses the route independently, it is not necessary to "take" all the CPs, the main thing is to return to the Finish line before the CT expires.
  • Time on the distance is taken into account only if the points are equal.
